Determining the Number of Units
If you are not sure how many units you might need or if your guest-list exceeds 1000, please give our office a call; and we will assist you with every detail. As a general guide, you can refer to the guests/unit chart to help determine a realistic estimate.
Your estimate should include the number of guests you are expecting, of course, as well as the number of hours your event will run. There are other considerations that may require the need for extra units: 1) a guest list with more women than men 2) alcohol consumption and/or 3) a larger number of guests who might remain at the event for more than 3 hours.
Here is an interesting side-note: Drinking alcohol, just on its own, can generate 40% additional trips to the bathroom – this, according to Medical Daily.
